Sponsorship Opportunities

Plutopia 2011 offers multiple opportunities for sponsorship at a number of different levels. The sponsorship income covers the costs of the venue, food, drinks, production, performers, artists, staging and all amenities.

We prefer active sponsors, that is to say, companies who provide interactive content and other resources that augment the event or find unique ways of leveraging Plutopia rather than simply giving money.

This is a great marketing opportunity offering a set of unique benefits that can be leveraged in line with any sponsor’s specific brand strategies!

Event Desirability and Visibility

  • Plutopia 2011 will be, as before, an official SXSW sponsored event.
  • The event is free to all SXSW registrants (around 20,000 will be invited) and open to the public for a very aff ordable ticket price.
  • Around 1500 will attend the Plutopia event.
  • There were 169,000 attendees at SXSW in 2009, with SXSWi showing a 40% increase – largest growth area at SXSW is the Interactive conference.
